Guilty Pleasures
24Kitchen – 6pm
From canned goulash and ready-made hamburger sandwiches to a plate of macaroni with ketchup and slices of smac or cheese fondue with frikandellen. One hates it, the other loves it. Still, everyone has a guilty pleasure on the menu. In Guilty Pleasures invites Chef Perry (What are we eating today) every episode a celebrity from whose guilty pleasure urgently needs to be given a somewhat more culinary look.
Strokes from Above
NPO 2 – 7.50 pm
Butter en eek, smoked eel and a nice tender herring; Yvette van Boven exchanges in the first episode of the second season of Strokes from Above her all-terrain vehicle once for a bicycle to discover her own region with terrier Marie: the North Holland Waterland. The first stop is at the very last fish smoker of Monnickendam.
The golden light

While the whole of the Netherlands witnessed the successes of gymnasts Renske Endel, Gabriëlla Wammes, Suzanne Harmes and Verona van de Leur at the beginning of this century, they appear to have been in the power grab of coaches who systematically exceeded their limits. The three-part documentary series The golden light mercilessly exposes how the foursome ended up in a situation from which no escape seemed possible.
Once Upon a True Crime
Crime + Investigation – 10 p.m.
British crime authors Peter James, Denise Mina, Mark Billingham and Douglas Skelton have written many a thriller in recent decades. In Once Upon a True Crime the quartet delves into the murders that inspire their work. In the first episode, master storyteller Peter James, known for the Roy Gracebook series, back to his hometown of Brighton where two 19-year-old girls disappeared in October 1986.

Family businesses are the indispensable backbone of our economy. But the increasing power of major parties threatens their very existence. In Above water it follows five families who invest every euro in their company. Among them are the Amsterdam Kesbeke family, who have become indispensable on supermarket shelves with their gherkins, Amsterdam onions and silver onions. But for how long?
