BREDA – Breda Jazz Festival and the night out effortlessly merge this Saturday. As if the youth have never gone wild on music other than jazz, popular venues such as the Havermarkt and the Haven are full of young people. It is also crowded in other places in the city center this evening.
Saturday, sun and jazz, a golden combination. The city center of Breda will be overflowing with visitors to the Breda Jazz Festival this Saturday. There is a lot of pressure around the stages, there is still good movement in between.
The first two days of the Breda Jazz Festival are well attended. In particular, Ascension Day, the crowd regularly caused congestion, and there were traffic jams in front of the parking garages. This Saturday there are sometimes queues in front of the garages, especially at De Barones. The bicycle sheds are also filling up well. There is extra parking space for bicycles on Adriaan van Bergenstraat and Kasteelplein, but they are also getting full.
Enjoying on the grass
The T-Huis in Park Valkenberg has been added to the official programming of the Breda Jazz Festival. Many visitors, including parents with children, now know where to find this place and enjoy the sun and jazz music on the grass. The place is a bull’s eye, as we write in our column ‘Jazz on location’.
Saturday has a full program including the Frits Bayens Big Band. View our tips of the day here.
